Searchblog is John Battelle's "thoughts on the intersection of search, media technology, and more." Battelle runs the Web 2.0 conference, and has taught at the UC Berkeley Graduate School in Journalism. In addition to his current role as Chairman and Publisher of FM, Battelle was the founder and publisher of The Industry Standard, and a co-founding editor of Wired magazine. His book, "The Search: Business and Culture in the Age of Google," was published by Penguin/Portfolio in September 2005 – making the Amazon, Businessweek, and Wall St. Journal best seller lists for business titles.
